For users currently using Windows Vista 32/64 BIT, This should be a quick fix to the IW3MP.EXE issue.

First of all within control panel, locate the sound, video and game controllers section and highlight your onboard sound card. Right click and select the uninstall option. DO NOT uninstall the drivers (there will be a check box, leave it unchecked).

Uninstall your sound card and upon completion restart your computer. Windows will automatically replace the uninstalled files when rebooting, so please do not worry!

This has fixed the problem for me, and I hope it helps you out,

Best of luck,
Sy
